A man is due to appear at court in connection with a serious injury road traffic collision in Hurn.

Shortly before 10pm on Saturday 22 July 2023 a collision occurred on Parley Lane, near to Bournemouth Airport, involving a dark blue Ford Fiesta and a blue Dodge Caliber.

Emergency services attended and the driver of the Dodge Caliber, a woman aged in her 40s, was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.

A 22-year-old man from West Moors attended a voluntary police interview in relation to the incident. Following detailed enquiries by the Roads Policing Team, he has now been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday 5 April 2024 for an offence of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
