Possible hunting/Poaching - Holt
Reference number: 55240041188
Officers investigating a poaching/hunting offence are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The incident occurred between the 18th March 2024 and the 19th March 2024 in the Holt Heath area.  
(A deer has been hunted and left in view for the public)

 

Male with catapult - Alderholt
Reference number: 55240042037
Officers investigating reports of a male with a catapult are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The incident occurred around 14:55 hours on the 20th March 2024 outside of St James Church of England First school.  
(Male was seen walking down the road shooting road signs. White male, early 20s, 5'6, black beard and hair wearing a camouflage jacket.)

 

Business burglary - Cranborne
Reference number: 55240044850
Officers investigating a burglary to a business premises are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The incident occurred between the 25th March 2024 and the 26th March 2024.  
(Two cans of diesel have been stolen overnight.)

 

Theft of tools from van - Alderholt
Reference number: 55240049330
Officers investigating a theft from motor vehicle are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The incident occurred between the hours of 00:00 and 08:00 on the 1st April 2024.  
(Victim work van has had it's doors forced open and tools have been stolen from within).

 

Male shooting trees - Moor Crichel
Reference number: 55240047896
Officers investigating a shooting offence are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The incident occurred between the hours of 13:00 and 16:30 on the 1st April 2024.  
(Four males in a blue Ford Estate car driving around Moor Crichel shooting rifles into trees).

 

Street lights damaged - Alderholt
Reference number: 55240048977
Officers investigating a criminal damage offence are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The incident occurred between the 29th March 2024 and the 30th March 2024.  
(Two street lights have been damaged possibly via a catapult. Glass smashed and the light no longer works).

 

Criminal Damage to motor vehicle - Woodyates
Reference number: 55240052482
Officers investigating a criminal damage to a motor vehicle offence are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The incident occurred around 17:18 hours on the 6th April 2024.  
(Victim has had a stone catapulted through the drivers front window).

 

Residential burglary - Sturminster Marshall
Reference number: 55240041690
Officers investigating a burglary to a dwelling are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The incident occurred between the 8th March 2024 and the 19th March 2024.  
(Victim has had his side window smashed and entry gained. Items stolen from within).

 

Theft of cattle hurdles - Shapwick
Reference number: 55240050140
Officers investigating a theft of cattle hurdles are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The incident occurred between the 30th March 2024 and the 31st March 2024.  
(23 cattle hurdles have been stolen from farm buildings).

 

Theft of whacker plate and fuel - Sturminster Marshall
Reference number: 55240051370
Officers investigating a theft of whacker plate and fuel are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The incident occurred between the hours of 12:00 on the 6th April 2024 and 07:00 on the 8th April 2024.  
(Metal fence panel removed. Site entered and fuel stolen from a vehicle as well as a whacker plate).
