CCTV appeal following assault in Bournemouth


Officers investigating an assault in Bournemouth are issuing CCTV images of a man they would like to identify.

 

The incident occurred at around 1.30am on Monday 1 April 2024 outside Sixty Million Postcards in Exeter Road.

 

It is reported that the victim – a local woman aged in her 20s – challenged a man who was urinating against a wall and asked him to stop.

 

The man subsequently punched the victim in the face causing her to fall backwards. She sustained significant bruising to her eye.

 

Police Constable Olivia Trew, of Bournemouth police, said: “I am continuing to investigate this incident and have obtained CCTV images of a man I would like to identify.
