CCTV appeal following public order incident in Bournemouth

Officers are issuing a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to following a public order incident in Bournemouth.

Between 2.20pm and 2.30pm on Saturday 30 November 2024 a group of young people were dancing near the Amazon lockers at the Castlepoint shopping centre in Castle Lane West when a man made inappropriate comments towards one of the group.

When challenged by members of the public, the man became aggressive and followed them to their car where he made further threats.

Police Constable Aaron Beveridge, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and I am now in a position to issue a CCTV image of a man I would like to speak to.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding his identity to please contact us.”
