Earlier today, Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT), Response and Force Support Group (FSG) executed a Warrant at an address in Poundbury.

A 41 year-old female and 40 year-old male were arrested at the property on suspicion of a number of theft related offences.

This includes theft from motor vehicles, an attempted burglary and the theft of parcels from doorsteps in the area local to the address.

Both remain in custody and enquiries continue.

We will be continuing ongoing work with the housing provider for the property and support tenancy action where appropriate to make Dorchester and Poundbury a safer place for all.
