This time of year many of us have been in our garden, sorting plants, looking at what needs to be done.

Please can I ask you all to be mindful of unannounced trades persons who call at your address.

If there is something that needs cutting back, digging up or is too much for yourself then please ask friends and neighbours for their recommendations or look in the local paper.

We want you to pay a fair price for a good job.
