Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is holding a public event: Meet The Team (Purbeck Police) @ Reggae on the Bay - Shell Bay Beach, Swanage | Event highlighted by PA/PRAP = 71 Years of Windrush arrival
This event is being attended by 2/3 local NPT PC's with a stand at the request of Inspector Want to proactively engage (due to likely high percentage of black community attending) in line with our PRAP objectives.
Local OIC = PC 2925 Luke Taylor (supported by NEO 6656) - as of the start of June, all relevant details passed and kit booked by NEO for OIC.
Proposed aims/objectives for our stall: to engage with those attending to break down any potential barriers and to increase trust and confidence in policing (particularly with the black community in line with our Race Action Plan work). We can achieve this by open and honest conversations, showing the kit and equipment we use, proving general advice and reassurance, completion of (2 min) local NPT priority surveys, consideration of KCC sign up, Dorset Alert sign up, and interacting with any children (handing out paper hats we have). td > | | When & Where is it? | Sat 21 Jun 2025 10:00 | Shell Bay Beach Ferry Road Swanage BH19 3BA ///gums.first.sleep
