Appeal for witnesses following reported public order incident in Bridport |

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a reported public order incident in Bridport.
It was reported that at around 6.30pm on Tuesday 30 September 2025 a man was acting aggressively in the areas of Sea Road South and Asker Meadows.
It was further reported that the man had exposed himself and had stolen from a nearby Morrisons store.
Officers attended and arrested a 56-year-old man from Weymouth on suspicion of exposure, theft from a shop and being drunk and disorderly in a public place. He remains in police custody at this time.
Police Constable Emily Billington, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and I would urge anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area on the evening of Tuesday 30 September 2025 to please come forward.
“I am also keen to hear from anyone who was driving in the vicinity at the time and may have captured relevant dashcam footage.”
