Image appeal following arson in Bournemouth |
||
Officers investigating multiple fires at garages in Bournemouth are appealing for information.
It is reported that at around 2am on Sunday 7 September 2025, a man was shouting outside an address in Holloway Avenue. He left and came back to the area on numerous occasions and continued to shout until approximately 11am.
During this time, at around 4am a number of garages were set alight, causing significant damage to the property.
Police Constable Tom Skinner, of Bournemouth police, said: “This had a serious impact on the residents affected and we are determined to identify who was responsible.
“We have obtained images of the man who was believed to be shouting and while there is nothing to suggest at this time he started the fires, we would like to speak to him as he may have information about what happened.
“I would ask anyone who recognises him to please contact Dorset Police.”
