Family of missing Spetisbury man appeal for help from the public |

|
The family of a missing man from Spetisbury are appealing for information and help from the public to find him.
Dorset Police received a report raising concern for 49-year-old Jamie, who was reported to have left his home address at around 10.30am on Friday 9 January 2026.
Jamie is described a five feet 11 inches tall and of medium build with dark brown hair. Following enquiries, it is now believed he was wearing a grey/brown coat when he left the address, as well as jeans and wellington boots.
Jamie’s family said: “Jamie – you are missed and loved by a lot of people. Your family, friends and work colleagues want you to return safe and well.
“If you’re reading this, then please just pick up the phone and let us know where you are. We are very concerned and want to make sure you are ok.
“We urgently need the public’s help to find him. Please take a look at the image of Jamie and reach out to the police if you have seen him or have information about his whereabouts.”
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Graham, of Dorset Police, said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Jamie’s welfare and are continuing our searches to locate him, assisted by the NPAS helicopter and DorSAR (Dorset Search and Rescue).
“We are renewing our appeal for information from the public for information to help find him and I would ask anyone who knows where he is, or has seen anyone matching his description, to please contact us.
“We are also continuing to ask anyone in the farming community or landowners in the surrounding areas to please check their land and outbuildings in case Jamie has sought shelter somewhere.”
