Appeal for information following robbery in Poundbury |

Detectives are appealing for information as they carry out enquiries into a report of a robbery in Poundbury.
It was reported that at around 6.45pm on Thursday 2 April 2026 a man aged in his 30s was walking in the Great Field when he was approached by two men. The men were reportedly in possession of a knife and stole the victims watch, a Rolex GMT.
The men are described as white and aged in their early 20s. One is described as around five feet ten inches tall and of slim build and was wearing a black hooded jumper, tracksuit bottoms and black trainers. The second suspect is described as around five feet five inches tall and of slim build and was wearing a black hooded jumper, tracksuit bottoms and trainers.
Detective Constable Scarlett Thornton, of Dorset County CID, said: “We are continuing to investigate this robbery and I am appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information regarding those involved to please come forward.
“I would also urge any residents in the vicinity with home CCTV or doorbell cameras, as well as motorists who were in the area around the relevant time with dashcam, to please review their footage for anything that might assist our enquiries.”
