A week in the life of your local Neighbourhood Team 👇

Officers attended the Dorset County Show to support our rural crime officers. This week we are celebrating the National Rural Crime Week of action, so PC Brad has been out on a joint operation with our colleagues from Avon & Somerset and Wiltshire where they were tackling burglaries and inquisitive crime that takes place over the cross border area. Last night they did the following in the Gillingham area:

1x Vehicle seized S165 and driver reported for no insurance

1x Vehicle seized S165, driver reported for driving without a licence and no insurance. Suspected stolen vehicle and enquires ongoing to establish this. 

3x Stop searches completed 

1x Male arrested who was wanted on warrant from Pembrokeshire Police 

The Team has also been:

👣 Out on foot patrol in Gillingham, providing a visible presence and speaking with residents.

📞 Supporting victims of fraud by offering advice on how to recognise and avoid future scams.

🤝 Working alongside partner agencies to tackle anti-social behaviour and improve our local communities.

🚗 Great work from our colleagues on Yellow Team who recovered a stolen vehicle.

🚔 Joining forces with our traffic officers to target drivers whose behaviour is causing anti-social behaviour and concern in the area.
