Neighbourhood Policing Round-Up It’s been another busy week across the area, and we wanted to share some of the work your local officers have been carrying out to keep our communities safe.
🌳 Weather-Related Incidents Over the weekend, officers worked alongside partner agencies to deal with a number of weather-related incidents, including fallen trees and road obstructions. We would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding while these incidents were being managed.
🚔 Bere Regis Officers issued two Out of Court Disposals in relation to incidents of disturbance in the village.
🔥 Wool An arrest was made in connection with the suspected arson at the Spar shop in Wool. The individual has been released on bail while enquiries continue.
👮 Swanage A proactive foot patrol by one of our officers led to the stop and search of a male. A significant quantity of drugs was located, and the male was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.
💣 Studland We worked in partnership with the Army to deal with a suspected World War Two bomb that washed up on Studland Beach. The item was safely assessed and appropriate action taken to ensure public safety.
🚗 Upton Officers stopped a vehicle in Upton and arrested the driver on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to supply following the discovery of suspected controlled drugs.
✅ Thank you to everyone who continues to support local policing. Your information and reports help us take action against crime, tackle anti-social behaviour, and keep our communities safe. If you have information about crime or suspicious activity in your area, please report it via the Dorset Police website or by calling 101. In an emergency, always dial 999. #NeighbourhoodPolicing #KeepingDorsetSafe #CommunityPolicing #ProactivePolicing #DorsetPolice #Swanage #BereRegis #Wool #Studland #Upton
