Local Crime Update

#GILLINGHAMNPT

This week the team have been assisting our patrol colleagues with incidents, on Friday PC Ash and Brad assisted with an incident after an unexploded ordnance was located, and then safely disposed of in a nearby field.

The team have also been in the rural parts of our patch dealing with suspicious circumstances, and then doing follow up visits with vulnerable members of the community. We have completed some Op Signature forms following frauds and scams have taken place to try and safeguard members of the public.

On Thursday the whole team were out looking for a wanted male, after a long day or search on foot and in our vehicles around the Shaftesbury, and completing some house to house enquiries PCs Brad and Ash used their local knowledge to locate the male nearby, and arresting him.

It was also lovely to go and pop in to see the team at Pure gym on their opening day, was nice to chat to the team and members of the community who are now members.

You can come and see the team at the Shaftesbury Mobile Police Station on the 12th of October at 11am at Lidl Carpark. The team will be there to discuss local issues and for you to report intelligence and concerns you have.
