Rogue Trader in Sherborne Area

Alert message sent 20/06/2020 08:59:00

Information sent on behalf of Dorset Alert

Sherborne Neighbourhood Policing Team have received a report of a rogue trader in the Bishops Caundle area. A male knocked on a resident’s door and asked if they would like their hedge trimmed and the cost would be £300. The resident refused, and the rogue trader went away. Two days later he returned demanding payment for the work even though it had not been done. Fortunately the resident was robust enough to tell the male to go away.
