Image appeal following theft of electric bike in Poole

Officers are issuing images of a man they would like to speak to as they investigate the theft of an electric bike from an address in Poole.

 Between 9.40am and 9.50am on Tuesday 16 June 2020 a man was captured on dashcam footage approaching the property in Compton Avenue. He was riding a bike with a basket on the handlebars.

 The same man returned a short time later on foot and stole a grey Raleigh Motus electric bike from the address.

 Police Community Support Investigator Matt Cast, of Dorset Police, said: “We are making enquiries into this incident and I am issuing images of a man we would like to speak to as part of our investigation.

“I would urge anyone with information as to his identity, or who has come across a bike matching the description given being offered for sale in unusual circumstances, to please contact us.”
