CCTV appeal following theft of phone in Bournemouth

Officers investigating the theft of a mobile phone in Bournemouth area issuing CCTV images of a woman they would like to speak to.

 The phone – an iPhone X Pro – was stolen from a staff area of a hair salon in Old Christchurch Road between around 3.45pm and 4.45pm on Friday 7 August 2020.

 During that time a woman came into the salon and asked to use the toilet. She went into the staff area to use the toilet and the phone was later discovered to be missing.

 Sergeant Steve Boston, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to make enquiries into this matter and we obtained CCTV images of a woman who we would like to speak to as part of our investigation, but have so far been unable to identify her.
