CCTV appeal following assault in Bournemouth town centre

Detectives investigating an assault in Bournemouth in which a man sustained a fractured eye socket are issuing a CCTV image of the suspect.

 At around 4.20pm on Saturday 10 October 2020 the victim – a local man aged in his 40s – was punched in the face by an unknown man outside Beales in Old Christchurch Road. He went to hospital and received treatment to a fractured eye socket.

 Detective Constable Jo Poultney, of Bournemouth CID, said: “Our investigations into the circumstances leading to this incident remain ongoing. 

“As part of our enquiries I have obtained a CCTV image of the suspect and I would urge anyone who knows who he is to please contact Dorset Police.”
