Break to motor vehicles

Alert message sent 03/11/2020 09:26:00

Information sent on behalf of Dorset Alert

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after a number of breaks to vehicles in the Wallisdown area.

Criminal damage to the vehicles and theft of contents happened between 01 November and 02 November on Bascott Road, Evans Close and in Greaves Close and Howeth Close in which some of the vehicles had power tools stolen.

Officers are reminding members of the public not to leave valuables in the vehicles – thieves know all of the hiding places.

We would also advise car owners to park their vehicles in a garage or on a driveway if at all possible.
