Man due in court in connection with serious injury collision in North Dorset

A man is due to appear in court in connection with a serious injury road traffic collision in North Dorset.

 Dorset Police was called at 8.04am on Monday 18 May 2020 to a report of a collision involving a grey Peugeot van and a white Ducati motorcycle on the C13 at Spread Eagle Hill near Melbury Abbas.

 The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 50s from Westbury in Wiltshire, sustained life-changing injuries as a result of the collision.

 A 23-year-old man from the Blandford area was arrested in connection with the incident and has now been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 22 December 2020 for an offence of driving without due care and attention.
