Update in relation to reported dog bite incident in Bournemouth

The owner of a dog that reportedly bit a boy in Bournemouth has been identified and is assisting officers with their investigation.

 The incident occurred at around 8am on Friday 6 November 2020 in Montgomery Road.

 A 12-year-old boy was reportedly bitten by a terrier-type dog on the back of the leg and sustained bruising.
 Following an image appeal, the owner of the dog has been identified and is assisting officers with their enquiries. No arrests have been made.

 We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.
