Appeal for information following burglary near Sherborne

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward after a ride-on lawnmower was stolen during a burglary near Sherborne.

A number of outbuildings were broken into in the area of Trent on the night of Friday 19 March 2021 and a Husqvarna CTH 135 E ride-on lawnmower was stolen, as well as a number of power tools.

The serial number for the mower is 120602C002447.

Police Constable Henry Cunningham-Johns, of Dorchester and Sherborne police, said: “We are carrying out a number of enquiries into this burglary and I would urge anyone with information that might assist our investigation to please come forward.

“I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or who has come across the mower described or power tools being offered for sale locally in unusual circumstances.”
