Information sent on behalf of Dorset Alert

Officers investigating a criminal damage incident in Bournemouth are issuing a CCTV image of the suspect in a bid to identify him.

At approximately 1.50am on Sunday 8 August 2021 damage was caused to a red and white barbers pole that was outside True Gents Barbers in The Triangle.

The offender damaged the pole with an item – possibly a boot – and it will cost around £500 to repair.

Police Constable Jonathan Park, of Dorset Police, said: “This was a mindless act of vandalism that has caused considerable financial damage to a local business.

“As part of my enquiries, I have obtained a CCTV image of the suspect and I would ask anyone with information about his identity to please come forward.”
