Information sent on behalf of Dorset Alert

Officers investigating a robbery in Bournemouth are appealing for information and are trying to trace potential witnesses.
The incident occurred between 4pm and 4.15pm on Monday 15 November 2021 outside the Sovereign Centre in Boscombe.
The victim, a 14-year-old boy, was approached by a male teenager of a similar age, who assaulted him and took his mobile phone.
The victim did not suffer any serious injuries and was able to recover his phone with the assistance of passing members of the public.
The offender was wearing dark-coloured sunglasses and a dark-coloured jacket.
Police Constable Paul Metcalf, of Dorset Police, said: “We have been investigating this robbery and I would urge any witnesses, or anyone with information that might assist our enquiries, to come forward.
“I am particularly keen to speak to a woman who was with her child and a passing motorist in a blue van, both of whom went to assist the victim and are likely to have witnessed what happened.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk/do-it-online, via email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55210184434. Alternatively, to stay 100 per cent anonymous, contact the independent charity Crimestoppers online at Crimestoppers-uk.org or call Freephone 0800 555 111.
