Officers investigating an assault at a bar in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
At approximately 12.20am on Sunday 21 November 2021 the victim, a woman aged in her 20s from Corfe Mullen, was in the smoking area of Bar So and was unaware a fight had broken out behind her involving a group of men she did not know.
During the fight a man was pushed into her, causing her to bang her head on a table. She sustained concussion as a result of the incident.
One of the men involved in the incident is described as white, around six feet tall, of muscular build and with strawberry blond/ginger hair with a beard. He was wearing a blue top and said he was in the Army and had just returned from Afghanistan.
Police Constable Kristy Heron, of Dorset Police, said: “The victim was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time and sustained concussion during this incident.
“As part of my investigation I am keen to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident or may be able to help me identify the people involved. I would urge anyone with information to please come forward.”
