CCTV appeal following theft and fraudulent card use in Bournemouth

Officers investigating the theft and subsequent fraudulent use of a stolen bank card in Bournemouth are issuing images of a woman they would like to speak to.

The victim’s purse was stolen while she was shopping at the Marks & Spencer store in Seamoor Road in Westbourne between 3.15pm and 4pm on Friday 25 June 2021.

It was subsequently used to carry out a number of transactions at various shops in the local area, totalling more than £130.

Police Community Support Investigator Steph Garner, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this matter and have obtained CCTV images of a woman we would like to speak to as part of our investigation.

“I would urge members of the public to contact us if they have any information relating to her identity.”
